The two-day annual event will be held in Sydney at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) on 26-27 August.

The confirmed Wired For Wonder speaker line-up for 2015 includes: ingenious academic and behavioural scientist, Sam Gosling; technology pioneer, entrepreneur and founder of Atari, Nolan Bushnell; and returning this year, by extremely popular demand is Guy Kawasaki, best known for being ‘chief evangelist’ at Apple, now working with Australian company Canva to ‘democratise design’.
Hear from powerful, inspirational women making headlines globally: advertising guru and founder of Make Love Not Porn, Cindy Gallop; global thought leader on the power of collaborative economy, Rachel Botsman; mathematician at the UCL Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, Dr Hannah Fry; Organisation and Neural Complexity Specialist Dr Fiona Kerr; Chair of Headspace and Circus Oz, Wendy McCarthy; and Aleks Krotoski, an academic who specialises in technology and social networks.
Meet incredible inventors: Jack Andraka, who at the young age of 15 invented an early detection test for pancreatic ovarian and lung cancer; as well as author, futurist and visionary technologist Ben Hammersley, most widely known as the inventor of the word ‘Podcast’.
Wired for Wonder will also present a series of interactive, themed workshops and engaging masterclass sessions including ‘no dancefloor’ dance classes, “how to” creative learning in collaboration with The School of Life and Speaker Close-Up’s, which will provide attendees with opportunities to interact with the keynote speakers on a more personal level.
This year will also see the introduction of a much-anticipated Controversy Hour – where no topic will be off limits and speakers will lead a thought-provoking debate covering politics, technology, parenting and equality that will keep attendees ‘Wired’ and full of ‘Wonder’.
