Attendance Terms – Wired for Wonder
These Terms outline the terms and conditions upon which you may attend Wired for Wonder.
1. Behaviour at the Event
1.1. We reserve the right to escort people from the venue should their behaviour negatively impact or cause harm to others at the venue.
2. Refunds
2.1. Once you have purchased the tickets they are non-refundable.
2.2. In case of event postponement, your ticket is non-refundable, but valid for the new date.
3. Ticket Fees
3.1. The current ticket fees set out on our website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.
4. Registration
4.1. We reserve the right to refuse entry at the event if you have not previously registered for the event.
5. Release
5.1. You consent to:
(a) us (or someone on our behalf) taking photographs, making audio and video recordings of you at the Event (Recordings); and
(b) us sharing the Recordings to promote the event in any manner we see fit for non-commercial purposes
5.2. You understand and agree that we own all rights (including copyright and other intellectual property rights) to the photos, videos and recordings.
5.3. You understand that:
(a) we are under no obligation to use, or pay you for, our use of the recordings; and
(b) you will have no right of approval, no claim for compensation, and no claim (including, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation or right of publicity), arising out of, directly or indirectly, from the use and publication of the recordings.
6. Privacy
6.1. The Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) may use some of the information and data it collects through the registration process, and my participation at the event, such as email address and contact phone number, for marketing purposes. CBA may share details such as my name and dietary requirements with third parties engaged to assist with producing the event and may otherwise use this information in accordance with our privacy statement set out at https://www.commbank.com.au/security-privacy/general-security/privacy.html
6.2. CBA may contact me through SMS, or any other electronic medium, in order to provide updates and key information about the event and related products and services.
7. Responsibility
7.1. CBA does not take responsibility for any goods, services and other benefits I may receive in relation to the event. I acknowledge it is my responsibility to comply with my organisation’s gifts & entertainment policies, and will seek further advice from my organisation regarding my attendance if necessary.
7.2. I am attending the event at my own risk. CBA is not responsible for any harm or loss unless caused by the wilful act or negligence of CBA’s staff, agents or sub-contractors.
